Kent a?açlar? karbon sal?n?m?n? azaltmaya yönelik depolayan ve tutan en önemli havuzlar?ndand?r. Karbon depolama tutma oran? her bir a?ac?n a?aç türü, boyu, ya?? yaprak biyokütlesi sa?l?kl? durumuna ba?l? olarak do?rudan ili?kilidir. Bu çal??mada; kentsel yol a?açlar?n?n yüzeyi biyokütlesinin hesaplanmas?nda Nowak (1996) taraf?ndan geli?tirilmi? formül, yapraklardaki tahmini için ise Tu?luer (2019) geli?tirilen KARB?YOS?S (Karbon Depolama Biyokütle Hesaplama Sistemi), program? ile gerçekle?tirilmi?tir. Sonuçlara göre, Adnan Menderes Bulvar?nda de?eri toplamda 3820 kg, ba??na iseortalama 26,16kg oldu?u belirlenmi?tir. Bununla birlikte tür baz?nda Cedrus libani, 4,87 Morus alba 4,68 Pinus nigra subsp. pallasiana 3,88 Cupressus arizonica 3,47 kgyaprak yüzeyinde tuttu?u
